The Treason is a 10-speed understable driver built to give players with slower arm speeds effortless distance. But here’s the catch: if you throw it nose up, it won’t unlock its true flight.
👉 Why Nose Angle Matters:
Nose Up = Stall + Early Fade. Even an understable disc will act overstable if released nose up.
Nose Down = Glide + Turn. That’s when the Treason shows off easy distance and smooth flight.
👉 How to Fix Nose Up:
Wrist Angle: Tilt your wrist down (like pouring coffee) to set the nose angle.
Reach Back Lower: Around chest height to match a natural upward flight line.
Release Clean: Match your reach back and release — not aiming at the ground.
👉 Bonus Tip for Upshots:Sometimes a slight nose up is useful. It slows the disc for softer landings near the basket. Keep your wrist above your elbow to add just the right amount of “air bounce.”
Bottom line:The Treason doesn’t need huge arm speed but it does need the right nose angle.Throw it nose down, and you’ll finally see the distance it’s built for.
