All of the ballots have officially been sent. Now, we’re just waiting for more to be returned.
After two weeks of the month-long PDGA Elections, 7,103 members have cast their votes to help select the next two members of the PDGA Board of Directors, as well as several State and Provincial Coordinators. That’s up 1,734 from our Week One update.
The PDGA sent ballots to 51,791 members, putting the current participation rate at 13.71%. While that is an improvement on 2019’s 12.99%, we’re still short on the marks from 2018 (15.39%) and 2017 (15.3%). How about we put those numbers far in the rearview mirror this week?
Since your ballot comes from our election house, Intelliscan, there is a possibility it got lost in the email shuffle. With that in mind, please check the depths of your inbox to make sure that you’ve received your ballot so you can take part in this year’s elections. Voting is a benefit of your annual PDGA membership, and it helps you have a say in picking the people who will represent your interests in the sport.
Here’s what you can do to make sure you can participate:
- Check your inbox for a message titled “Vote Now in the 2020 PDGA Elections” or “2020 PDGA Elections – REMINDER” from [email protected].
- Check your spam folder for the same message.
- If you still don’t have a ballot, we can get you one. Just be sure to reach out to PDGA Memberships Manager Vic Allen and he will get you set up.
Voting runs through July 31, so if you haven’t cast your ballot yet, you still have time. Put it to good use by learning more about the candidates:
And if you’ve already voted, make sure your friends have, too. Thank you for participating in the 2020 PDGA Board of Directors Elections.
